It's How You're Built - We all know that some of us are “double jointed”, which means that some of us have loose joints. And others have tight joints.  It seems that some of us are born with tighter tunnels than others. 

Tight Tunnel - Most CTS cases are due to tighter tunnels. 

Squeezing the Median Nerve - A narrow tunnel harms the nerve over many years and decades.

People sometimes get carpal tunnel syndrome when something takes up space in the tunnel.
