BUMP

Most bumps below the elbow are safe.
Take a look at these common bumps and see if it fits what you have.

Ganglion Cyst

• These are pockets of fluid from the joint

• They also make small firm bumps at the base of the finger on the palm side

• The pictures show the most common locations

Osteoarthritis

• Bumps at the last joints are often due to arthritis

Dupuytren Disease (Palmar Fibromatosis)

• An inherited thickening of the palm

• Sometimes it bends the fingers

Olecranon Bursitis

• It is common to get swelling on the tip of the elbow

• It tends to linger for months when it comes

• It seems to run in families
